7 tips for buying a bra
1. Close the bra on the loosest hook
If the bra stretches over time you can always wear it on a tighter hook and wear it longer.
2. Always check how the bra looks under your clothes
Is the bra comfy? Put your shirt back on to check what the bra looks like under your clothes.
3. Rather wait with shopping bras when your having your period
If you are having your period it might be good to wait with shopping for bras. Because of your period your breast might be fuller and more sensitive so you might shop the wrong bra size.
4. Check the bra wires
The wires should fit perfectly underneath your breasts. The inner wires should rest in the middle of your chest bone and the outer ones should sit around your breast. When the wires press on any side of your breasts, you are probably wearing the wrong size.
5. Fit two fingers between the bra band to check the size
The bra band should not ride up your back but neither should it cut into your skin. If you are able to fit two fingers between the bra band you are wearing the right band size.
6. Check the cup fit
the cups shouldn’t be gaping in but you shouldn’t be spilling over your cups either
7. When in doubt, always ask for help!
When your doubting about the bra size you can easily visit a store to have yourself measured. Ask an employee if they can help with determining your bra size. They do this everyday! An employee can also help you with finding your favorite fit or give handy tips. And if you buy a bra in the shop it is also easy to fit different bras and find out what you like best!
